Accessibility

What's actually built in, not a checklist we copied from somewhere else.

Keyboard navigable

Every interactive element -- links, buttons, form fields, the order queue -- can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone. A "Skip to content" link appears on the first Tab press so keyboard users don't have to tab through the header on every page.

Screen reader labels

Icon-only controls (notifications, search, the assistant panel toggle, delete actions) carry a descriptive aria-label, not just a bare icon. Status changes, like a supplier reply count, update through accessible attributes rather than visual-only cues.

Respects reduced motion

If your device is set to reduce motion, SupplierPing's animations -- card reveals, hero transitions, the operations scene -- turn off automatically instead of ignoring that preference.

Real alt text

Photography carries a written description of what's actually in the image, not the filename or a placeholder. Purely decorative elements are hidden from screen readers so they don't add noise.

Touch and click targets

Interactive controls are sized to at least 44x44px, the accessibility baseline for anyone using touch, a stylus, or a mouse with limited precision.

Readable contrast

Body text and primary actions are set in dark ink tones against light backgrounds, chosen to stay readable rather than for pure aesthetics.

Honest about the gaps

This page describes what's genuinely implemented, not a claim of full WCAG or ADA compliance. SupplierPing hasn't been through a formal accessibility audit, and some areas -- dense data tables, chart visuals, third-party embeds like Stripe Checkout -- may not fully meet every guideline yet. If you rely on assistive technology and hit a wall anywhere in the product, that's exactly the kind of thing we want to know about and fix.
